In today’s era of globalisation and rapid social, technological, and economic change, education is no longer confined to the conventional school context. Broad-based, change-oriented education is required to prepare the new generation for an unpredictable future and to contribute to the human capacity development needed to meet new challenges.

The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) has organised a series of “Education-Plus Dialogues” in which thought leaders from different spectrum of society have engaged in dialogue with senior HKIEd academics on a range of education-related topics. The series is designed to provide fresh perspectives on educational issues and inspire wider public discussion.

The dialogue sessions have been captured as videos and uploaded to this website. Members of the public are also welcome to explore the subjects through a web blog.
